To all of those who are not familiar with public transportation, or take it regularely, do not be put off. This only happened because I happen to take one of the most shady train lines in all of Australia. I will not say any names, so I'll dub my train line the "Begratefulyou'realive" line.
I take this train everyday to get to and from school, occasionally, I'll take the train late at night for reasons I cannot share on DA. Let me get this clear now, this train is weird. Things, strange things happen on this train at night. You see, the stop where I get off is right next to a liquer store. Liquer and fastmoving objects do not mix. As I got off, I see this random man on the other side of the street walking funny. He's stumbling around, umbrella in one hand, a bottle of whiskey in the other, and he crosses the road to where the station is. All of a sudden, for no fucking reason, he starts screaming. Not the "ahh" I stepped on a cockroach scream, but a full-onwar cry. This idiot is howling his head off, swing his umbrella and stumbling around, and me and this lady waiting by the bus stop (it's right beside the train station) just stare. As he tries to climb the stairs to the station, the guy suddenly realises he hates stairs and starts bashing the metal railings and concrete steps with his umbrella, all the while screaming his guts out. After much difficulty, he climbs up. then goes into a fucking fit. He literally explodes. I couldn't help but stare as he just lost his fucking mind up there, smashing his umbrella into innanamate objects while screaming. Then he goes silent, and walks back down the stairs like nothing even happened and just walks away. That was it. ....Poof. It was dark, so there wern't many people at the station. The transit officer (the place ALWAYS has transit officers) were not there, so no-one said anything to him. It was really bizzare. Oddly enough, that was only half the crazy shit that happened at "begratefulyour'realive" station that night, but I cannot be bothered to write it now.
Yeah, if you've got any weird public transportation stories, please share. The place where I live has a bad reputation for being a nasty neighborhood, and to give you an idea of just how bad it is, people have been stabbed to death at my station. Twice. This year..............yup.
